       She knows that it’s already nearly two hours past curfew, and she’s still half drunk on the side of the road walking home, but she’s still going. Can’t stop now. The party was over and she ‘wasn’t stupid enough’ to get in the car with anyone else who had been there, which-- while it was a wise decision-- didn’t mean she wouldn’t end up in trouble. Elva can’t help embracing it now though. 

   Especially not when her shadow suddenly appears, courtesy of the red and blue flashing lights that have just come on behind her. Considering she’s the only one around as far as she can see in any direction, she knows it’s for her. She doesn’t stop though, just keeps on trucking and even sticks her thumb out to the side to be a smartass.

♙: Sharing a bed

       She’s getting rather spoiled, getting so used to sleeping in the safety and warmth of Ben’s company that she has even more trouble falling asleep on nights when she isn’t in bed with him. Elva’s thankful that she’s over so late tonight, knowing that she’ll end up staying until the morning. At this point, she’s even got some of her clothes tucked in a corner of one of his drawers (though they both know she has a tendency to just steal something of his). 

   Tonight the spirit opts to borrow a tee shirt of his to sleep in, and she waits until after Ben’s already gotten into bed and under the covers to join him. There’s a smile staining her face as she just stares for a moment, but she knows he’ll say something if she doesn’t get in with him soon. 

       She turns the lights out, then climbs in behind him, wiggling right up until her chest is against his back. Both arms find their way around him and she sighs, making it clear that she was in one of her most comfortable spots right here. Elva presses several kisses to the back of his neck and closes her eyes.
