An ode to my mom and all those lonely people out there struggling with childhood trauma, be it microtraumas or macrotraumas or be it that it was of intentional making or unintentional! Trauma is a reality and isn't something to be taken lightly. And most importantly, every human being has the right to unconditional love and to be accepted as they are while given help, if needed. "Branches of A Tree" is a beautiful reminder of how certain people (even though it references one friendship in particular) can come into your life and - for a plethora of reasons - your heart connects to theirs. 1️⃣6️⃣ The Unsaid Emotions has been launched🥳🥳🥳 To me, the title of the book gave me the opportunity to reflect on an experience that left me with a lot of feelings, that I hadn't previously expressed "The Girl In The Pink & Black Dress," shares how someone's perception of who they imagined me to be, revealed their actual nature. The last few days have been nothing short of crazy (in the best possible way😅😅😅). So I haven't had the chance to post that Inner Connection has been officially launched. As someone who has spent the better part in life's waiting room, I really wanted to write about "The Wait". Life is so fast nowadays and everything is instant. From food to human interactions...people rarely take time to slow down long enough to smell the roses. I have learnt - albeit the painful way - that the best things are worth the wait. . 1️⃣1️⃣ What A Day To Love has been launched 🥳🥳🥳 A few of my poems have been shared in this anthology, like Prince Charming and My Little Protector. I wrote "Prince Charming" about someone who changed my entire outlook on life (for the better). His positivity and sincerity are what always stood out to me. Well, that and the fact that he truly embodied what it meant to be a Christian in today's day and age. Truly a prince in every sense of the word👑😁🤗 Anyone who has ever met me, knows that I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs. I wrote "My Little Protector" about one of my furbabies. 🔟 Oysterish Quillings has been launched🥳🥳🥳 It features quite a few of my poems but there are two that are really close to my heart. You know how a Russian nesting doll has a smaller doll inside and then another one and another one? And how people relate it to the various layers one has as a human being? Well, I took an introspective look at the different sides of my personality and "Simply Me" was the result. Resonating Words of Emptiness has been launched🥳🥳🥳 Initially, Finality was a very short and light-hearted piece. Which was fine, except I couldn't connect with it. It was my experience, yet I didn't feel it. So, I thought about what those seven years felt like. How I never got any closure. What it felt like when I realised that door was finally closed and there was no chance of repairing the broken relationship anymore. The realisation resulted in Finality as you see it in the book.
