       every once in a while, pandora will send a song they've        never heard of into the mix,   filling their apartment with        sounds of something unknown.     right now,   it's some        classical music,         echoing through their little kitchen.        alec's   taking   the   opportunity   to   stand   up  a  little        straighter,   call after gav who's    trying    to make them        some dinner.   “  come, dance with me.  ”      he's got a        bright grin on his lips,   holding out a hand for his fiancé.          “  c'mon.          it'll be like      ...       wedding practice.  ”

       luke's absolutely livid. with every stomp of his foot and        grumble under his breath,  he concocts something else        he could say to michael.             & the red haired boy is        completely out of line     ( as far as luke is concerned )        saying things he has no right to bring up,       especially        what with  luke trying  his very  hardest to  be     happy.        to make it  like michael hardly  e x i s t s  unless  there's        a camera following them.         he'll slip his keycard into        their shared rooms door, busting through with a kind of        rage that's         unheard of         when it comes to luke.           “            what        the        FUCK        michael.             ”

      “ you should stay over tonight, ” ryan hums, drumming his fingers on the table. “ it’ll be fun, just like old times, y’know? ” the omega flashes the other a warm smile. “ plus, i miss having you around. ” 

      “ ashton, ” his voice is soft, it’s around two am and he just — can’t sleep. sure, ashton is here now and he should be able to sleep properly, but he’s simply shifting and rolling and he just can’t. fingers press against the male’s back, a whine eliciting from the blond.

            there were a number of things he was expecting, showing up uninvited. among those options, never did it occur to him that he'd see something from his nightmares. something that sets him off, barreling through the door and finally using his wide frame to his advantage. the words of absolute rage, venom to throw michael's way course through him, desperate to know WHY. why after all this time, countless nights of claiming to be straight but that luke was the only exception. that he couldn't love luke back because he wasn't gay. all things he'd grown to accept that now meant nothing, all because of what he's just seen. the adrenaline sent him in thinking he could be strong, but the further he makes it into the house, the smaller he feels.  ❛  michael.  ❜  he calls out & he intended for it to be powerful. for his tone to mean something. instead his voice shakes, wavers through the name.
