Sir Lewis Hamilton’s trophy collection:
first-place trophies
second place trophies
third place trophies
* I couldn’t find picture of Lewis with the trophy for: Australian GP 2012 (it’s Jenson Button’s 1st place trophy) & Malaysian GP 2012 (it’s Checo’s 2nd place trophy) • (Lewis finished P3 of both races)

that's a lot of pretty trophies 💜 and it's really satisfying to see them all together
Daily DC positivity #5
It was bound to happen and now here we are, I will now openly admit that the reason I became a Batman-fangirl and reader of DC comics back in the day was... dadummm
Batman’s arsenal of ultimately cool stuff
Batcave
I remember being like 5 years old when I first started to look for hidden caves and holes in the ground, or maybe just a hollow tree, a cabin or some other cool place to hideaway from the adults and bullies. Mind you... me and my friends we didn’t find anything the likes so we just built some sort of fort out of branches and stuff. It was the closest we got. At this point when I first stumbled over Batman’s cave in some comics I got my hands on, I was awed. This is like THE dream every child has, isn’t it?
Fuck Barbie and even that ultracool four-wheel-drive remote-controlled mini-jeep I got for christmas, I wanted a Batcave. Obviously I never found sth similar and my parents weren’t hyped when we tried to dig a hole in our backyard... But this is the stuff dreams were made of, don’t you agree?
The Batmobile
I wasn’t into cars that much back then (besides said remote-controlled jeep that lasted for like one round through our driveway before it basically imploded) but I did like the Batmobile. It was flashy and cool, it caught my attention and I got all tingly when I watched Batman drive through Gotham in one of those Tim Burton movies.
It was much later (Christian Bale era) that I irrevocably fell in LOVE with this hot af MACHINE. Batfleck’s version the same. Up to this day I WANT, WANT, WANT it! I still don’t care thaaaaaat much about cars, it’s fine if it has four wheels, a good amount of horses under the hood and enough space to transport furniture, but I’d sell a few years of my life just for ONE ride in the tank-version of the Batmobile. Especially since Arkham Knight...
The Batsuit
Yeah, well who doesn’t want to wear a form-fitting cool outfit designed to look like a bat, has a cape with some sort of cool memory functional material (because this is no leather no more, hear me) that let’s you sort of glide? I certainly did. I’d still wear it in a heartbeat but I’m nowhere near Bruce’s size and my boobs would get in the way. So, I’d rather have Kate’s outfit. But come on. The Batsuit? It’s amazing!
If I had the means to make sth remotely like it I would and I’d wear it and I’d probably end up jumping to my death from some medium sized house. But fuck it. At least I’d have tried.
The Batsuit is iconic, I cannot think of ANY other mantle that I dig more than this piece of ultimate armor. And for the most part it gets better and better from decade to decade cause look at all those futuristic ideas people nowadays think up because most of that shit WILL be possible in due time. (Let’s not talk about money here though...)
The Utility Belt & Other Stuff
Being able to counter every problem? Having antidotes for like every possible poison on you? Batarangs? Grappling Gun? Explosive foam? Smokebombs?Hydrogel? An ultrasonic device that lets you call on the bats?
Holy Mary! SIGN ME UP FOR THIS SHIT!
I cannot think of a single character (any universe, any world, anywhere, DC or not) having cooler stuff. Sorry not sorry. This includes Tony Stark. Still not feeling sorry. :D
Dnd Trophy Collector
Does anyone else have that experience when playing dnd or some other table top game where at least one player keeps collecting body parts from fallen foes? Its so interesting to me as those players try and rationalize their growing collection of rotting bits until their bag of holding is one disgusting slurry of discarded and forgotten parts. In my own games I’ve seen a player collect bear skins, Gnoll paws, and dead slime goo (poured out a bottle of holy water for that, which my cleric character took some offense to). The Critical Role crew also have collected, Gnoll ears, a manticore head, gator skins, dragon teeth, a demon’s heart, and a bunch of dead quasits.
I feel like there is a part of the Player that can see someone collecting body parts, either because their character is weird or because they understand that the item could be useful, but don’t know what to do with it once they have it.
I think it would be really interesting to create a set of rules or guidelines for the collectors (and their dms) and their collections. So, guidelines on how to preserve or use the pieces so they don’t end up with a puddle of goblin parts on the desk of the mayor the next time they search the their bag of holding in their office.
My thoughts basically break down into a couple of different ideas. Characters selling their loot, using it for either spell or artificer components, or keeping it as a trophy.
For example:
A bear pelt would be something that could be sold, but first it would have to be dried or tanned, then setting the value for the fur.
A wolf pelt could be used as a cloak to grant the player resistance to cold damage or advantage on saving throws against cold damage.
A red dragon’s scales could be used to cast burning hands by a wizard.
A barbed devil’s tail could be saved as a trophy but first preserved so it can last, then be put on display in the character’s home base, possibly for advantage on intimidation checks.
What are you favorite Trophies that have been collected by your party?
And what would you want to do with the Trophies? Sell, Display, Craft, etc?
