LOL yes very good! If anyone would be a match for Demon King Red, it's good ol' Trophy Clone! King Red tries to kiss him and smother him in love, but TC shrugs him off and hurries across the room where some clothes have been left discarded and immediately begins to fold them... the king insists he needn't do that, they have servants to do that. TC just gives him this blank, vaguely annoyed look and goes back to work. He spends all afternoon and all night cleaning up the closet, doing laundry, maybe even a bit of ironing. King Red has resigned himself to sitting on a nearby fainting couch just watching.. he loves his beloved darling more than anything and doesn't mind waiting for him to finish at all, it's just.... odd? It's like he has no personality at all, he only wants to do chores. Red falls asleep there while waiting for it to be done, and by the time he wakes up, TC is already up and at em polishing the jewelry on the dresser and shining shoes and ugh why did Red think it so necessary to have such a LARGE wardrobe, his darling is NEVER going to finish at this rate.....

What if red finally runs into the Orignal Mk and realizes oh shit I kidnapped what amounts to a laundry doing robot? And maybe Orignal Mk gets the clones memories and learns about all of red’s failed confessions? And he’s like oh shit red loves me too?
Oh fun! Trophy Clone's plot never really got resolved, so this might be a fun way to end it. It's never really been established that the clones would share their lived experience with MK once poofed, but I kind of like that idea.. also it works out well in a way if MK already has a crush on Red Son too because if he just gets the clone's memories then he can stop stressing about falling for his enemy and just go ask Red out... also he'd have to ask him for his laundry back lol
Now I'm curious to learn more about poor Trophy Clone. Got any ideas?
Oh yes! Let’s get into some specifics about Trophy Clone and how that would go down because honestly I love the idea :U
So I think for the scenario to work Red Son definitely has to know it’s a clone, but whether or not he knows it’s a clone right away is a different matter. He could have kidnapped one of MK’s clones during a battle in which case it’d be pretty obvious it’s not the real MK and he could behave as such from the start, with his intention being to use clone MK for practice from the very beginning. However, it could also be fun if Red Son is planning to kidnap MK, y’know in standard demon courting style, and accidentally yoinks one of MK’s clones who is out and about doing MK’s chores or whatever he happens to need a clone for that day.
If Red Son thinks it’s the real MK at first, maybe he does his whole confession speech to the clone and just waits for a reaction. Trophy Clone is like, “oh uh... yeah that sure was something dude. Listen, I’m not MK tho and I was in the middle of some chores so can you let me go?”
This is obviously disappointing and also a little embarrassing because he grabbed some clone and not the actual Monkie Kid, but also HEY he practiced that speech a lot and that’s the only reaction this stupid clone can give him? Was it at least good? Does he have some feedback??
Trophy Clone is kind of paying attention but mostly just wants to go back to his chores though, because the clones are kinda made with a purpose in mind and they tend to get really focused on that purpose the longer they exist. This is the reason that no matter how much Red Son tries, he can’t get the reaction he wants out of the clone.. he just won’t listen to his words of love or accept his affection. It drives Red Son deep into despair, because he thinks the clone is basically a copy of MK and doesn’t know that they tend to differ in personality.. so if he see that this MK is disregarding him like this, then the real MK would probably behave the same.
Rather than dissuading him from keeping the clone, he doubles down and decides that since this clone has made clear MK wouldn’t return his affection, then he’s going to do the next best thing and keep the clone all to himself forever so he can smother it with all the love he’ll never be able to give the real MK. This leads to some awkward moments like Trophy Clone tied up in Red Son’s room thinking about like, doing laundry or whatever chore that he has been kept away from and completely ignoring that Red is snuggled up to him and kissing his neck, absolutely begging for... just SOME reaction. Anything, pLEASE?? Trophy Clone can’t give it though, he only exists to do laundry lol
DBK and PIF find out about the trophy clone and it basically becomes their laundry maid. Queue PIF saying how useful he is, sort of praising it, killing Red Son's self-esteem and making himself question his worth. ~~There's your angst back~~
OHH! What a good twist!! :D This does help it get back into the dark territory..
So Trophy Clone gets a small bit of freedom around the lair because PIF and DBK find some use in him doing their chores.. I could absolutely see Iron Fan purposefully mocking Red Son about how much more helpful he is than her own boy (who couldn’t even catch the real Monkie Kid when he tried, how very sad)
TC is too busy folding laundry to ever notice these comments or how frustrated and angry Red becomes as it continues on and on.. one day I’m sure Red is just going to snap and lock the clone up again, tying him up and tossing him in the closet or something so he doesn’t have to listen to his parents’ teasing anymore. So Trophy Clone gets left in the closet most of the time now, he only gets pulled out when Red Son thinks of something he wants to say to the real MK but can’t (so he just sits and listens to Red rant at him for awhile without offering any reaction.. which frustrates Red even further and gets him tossed back in the closet) or when Princess Iron Fan breaks him out of Red’s closet for a bit to have him do her laundry or something because she’s bored and wants to annoy her son.

Red Son trying and failing to get Trophy Clone to react to him in more and more ridiculous and sexy ways, culminating in him just sitting on the floor, shirtless, watching the clone fold his laundry is freakin amazing tho
Dark Spicynoodleshipping and Clone angst idea: Red Son manages to capture one of MK's clones and keeps him as a trophy to practice confessing to and lavishing affection on MK. The clone just wants to go home
