Theodore Alvarez-Martin, AKA Lightning Strike
Theo was born to a superhuman family, Amalie Alvarez-Martin (née Martin) and Sebastian Alvarez-Martin (né Alvarez-Garcia). He has an older sister, Jessica, and two twin siblings, Cedric and Nora. His parents went inactive as heroes after he was born, but still trained Theo and his sister to join the next generation of heroes.
Theo became less enamored with the hero life style after experiencing his first villain's release. Despite substantial evidence against the criminal, he was deemed not guilty and allowed to roam the streets, free to commit more crimes until the next hero came along to arrest them. By the time he was finally tried and convicted, it was too late, as he was arrested on two murder charges and one charge of attempted child murder.
He decided to take the law into his own hands, declaring himself judge, jury and executioner in the name of public safety. He is widely regarded by the public as mostly-positive force, but several people -- including his family -- question his methods.
He's had an arrest warrant out since he was 17, but one of the good parts of being a shady underground "hero" is knowing the sewer works of the city like the back of your hand.
He inherited his mother's telekinesis and his father's electrokinesis, and developed a new power of his own; He's been plagued by the ability to accurately "guess" the way people will die, desensitizing him to death as a child. It hasn't proved to be too useful, but at least he no longer vomits at the smell of burnt flesh.
