My point in posting is NOT to publicize the event. The very last thing I want to do is cause anymore havoc. I’m just trying to get a point across. I know Gela has sent her & JT’s thanks for the support and love they are getting in the matter. As many fans know, John Taylor received crude & threatening comments towards him and his family on his Instagram account. It was bad enough that he shut down the account. I don’t know the situation with other accounts (his or Gela’s). I have seen some of these comments and it’s an utter disgrace. As a fan, I am naturally upset as anybody else. The person and their account has been “named and shamed”- so I am not going there. We all have our times here where we cut up. That’s fine. duranduranofficial has got to have a sense of humor to put up with us here and on other social media sites. BUT this individual took it way too far. Hopefully they will be dealt with in a lawful & proper manner. It’s not my place or anyone else’s to try and “harrass back” at this person, which some are trying to do. PLEASE avoid anymore chaos out of respect for John. Don’t give someone 15 minutes of fame for doing something like this. And also what I’m getting at is to PLEASE not bully or harass anyone else online or anywhere else. Hurtful comments get around and cause actual harm to the victim. If you can’t be constructive, don’t say anything at all. People really do get hurt by these situations. This is real life, with real consequences. TAKE THE HIGH ROAD!
