Evac the Velvet! It's quite loyal and friendly, but the other local Saiwan aren't sure if that's because it sees them as a fellow Velvet or if it's an actual personality trait. It struggles to retain information, often learning something and being frustrated when it can't recall later. It has trouble seeing and parsing what's real and what isn't, but it's incredibly reliable and a decent doctor when provided the right materials.
UPDATE: it has a story on ao3 now, "the color yellow makes me hungry"

The initial assets for the base models I have made were obtained from this repository. The base models are not made by me, I am still learning the skills necessary for that- I will not claim to have made every last part of these models! However, I am the one who tweaked the animations, appearance, ect of each one. I designed these monsters and chose models with a similar body type to what these are intended to be. Most weren't made with Pokemon in mind, either. Additionally, most of the monster designs are animal-based. This is because I like them and it's what I wanted to draw/design. I'm a furry, what did you expect. These models and animations will likely be tweaked over time.
NOW WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF OUR CONTESTANTS! (This is under half of the ones made thus far. Turns out I like doing this...)
FELIFAE, bug/fairy. Its name is derived from feline and fae. The mandibles on the side of its mouth make emoting difficult, so it almost always has an intense and serious expression. It is rather aloof and not especially affectionate, but it IS fiercely loyal. It won't hesitate to leap into action to defend those who have gained its favor, no matter how unwinnable the fight. Felifae does not evolve from or into anything. This model's base was Purrloin.
JELLICALLING, ghost. Its name is derived from Jellicle cats and calling. A Jellicalling will endlessly seek to find what its purpose in life is. What will bring it joy? It just doesn't know yet! Its tiny wings aren't developed enough to fly just yet, so it uses them to help dramatize its movements in hopes of bringing it just one step closer to learning about itself. It typically keeps its eyes closed, as even those are still developing. Jellicalling has a diverging evolution. This model's base was Tepig.
VOLHETZEN, steel/electric. Its name is derived from voltage / voltzahl and sic (often in reference to dogs, as in pursuit/attack/ect) / hetzen. The sharp points on its body and high prey drive make it difficult to keep as a pet. The silver and copper on its body are not only razor-sharp, but have electric currents running through them. Unfortunately, its intelligence is well below average, meaning it rarely if ever thinks to use this to its advantage. Volhetzen evolves... at least once? This model's base was Sprigatito.
SCHAM, flying. Its name is derived from sheep, sham, and "sch" as a prefix. The wool of a Scham is considered useless and low-quality, and one would be lucky if the wool doesn't fall apart immediately upon being sheared. Scham sleep almost constantly and are difficult to rouse- however, once awoken, it tends to be consumed by an intense hatred for everything that moves and will attack without discrimination. It tends to be raised in herds alongside a similar-looking species. Scham evolves once. This model's base was Wooloo. Sorry Wooloo
