not sure if i ever shared this reference sheet, at least by itself, but this is Wilson in my Triwyn au. he's Wynslow's right hand man, a step-up from pawn but not quite a queen.

in this au, he wasn't able to have his character arc before Wynslow got to him, so he's still rather unsocialized and prickly, hungry for power/knowledge - which is why he was swayed by The King to begin with. plus, it helps that he thinks they're pretty.

Wilson serves as a sort of advisor to Wynslow, and by that i mean he sort of just agrees with whatever they're doing. he adores the evil gig, and he's been putting a lot of work into his nefarious laugh. he's quite the gremlin on his own, but paired with Wynslow, he's even worse.

william and wilson are begrudging allies before he accepts wynslow's offer, but nowhere near as bad as in canon - and that's even considering that wilson and maxwell are not that mean to eachother. they were getting close to friendly, even, until wilson's selfishness took priority over the company he kept. he tried to go back and play it off, much like maxwell after the encore short, but he's not as good a liar.
