The Trivittata have celebration they do every year in the spring id love to go to. Its a flower festival where they grow and sell the most amazing flowers. It is said the streets are lined with with beds of flowers and the trees above you sprinkle you with petals as you walk under them. I have been wanting to go with someone for ages but the others always refuse. Miltosi says it sounds boring and the girls always get weird about it, Nalla slapped me last time I asked. I know its a festival meant for lovers but you don't have to be with a lover to go and appreciate it. I was going to ask a guild member to go with me but Phinda basically forbade me from doing it so now the only option will be for me to go myself I suppose. more information about the Trivittata can be found in the Almanac.

Although it is common for Animalian to give handfuls of flowers to loved ones, the Trivittata (Yellowheart Chafer) believe that it is better to offer a live, growing flower. The thought is that giving a cut, dead flower shows insincerity, as your love is as dead as the flower itself. A live flower however, if cared for, will bloom much longer, similar to the love between the two Animalian.

A few weeks ago i thought it would be fun to design a Valentine's themed subspecies. At first, I was going to do something classic like a dove, but then with help from my Animalia server, we found something a bit more fun. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out what the lore for these guys would be.
