Living Love
Although it is common for Animalian to give handfuls of flowers to loved ones, the Trivittata (Yellowheart Chafer) believe that it is better to offer a live, growing flower. The thought is that giving a cut, dead flower shows insincerity, as your love is as dead as the flower itself. A live flower however, if cared for, will bloom much longer, similar to the love between the two Animalian.
More information about the Trivittata can be found in the Animalia Almanac.

Tasting your foe
I have heard of an Animalian eating parts of other Animalian before as a kind of last way to remember a loved one they lost, but when I was slithering with a Bibroni the other day we were jumped by bandits and after having to kill them, the Bibroni began taking some of their body parts and saving them for later. When I asked why she did this, she said it was to eat later so they could become stronger. I’ll be honest, I didn’t probe any further as I didn’t want to be rude and end up waking up the next day with a missing arm.
For more information about the Bibroni see the Animalia Almanac.

I have seen some Animalian riding the waves on the ocean, but the other day I was deep inland and I spotted a Surinamensis (Aquatic coral) riding a large wave that was crashing down a river. I was confused as to how a wave could happen in a river as well as why someone would ride one, so I attempted to chase them down, but they quickly rode the wave far outside of my reach. Perhaps I’ll have to look more into the Surinamensis to find answers.
For more information about the Surinamensis see the Animalia Almanac.

How long do glints live? Are the lifespans of subspecies any different than a normal wyrm?
Subspecies live about the same. Glints are maybe slightly shorter and qindingwyrms are slightly longer.
