During his too-short life, filmmaker Rob Stewart (1979–2017) dedicated himself and his art to waking up humans to the environment beneath the waves and the risks of our exploitation of sharks. In addition to his award-winning full-length documentaries Stewart founded two organizations, United Conservationists and Fin Free. Ocean conservation organization @PangeaSeed Foundation launched its @SeaWalls_ program to harness the power of art and since 2014 has created 350 murals. In 2018 it created the @Dakuwaqa.Project to carry on Rob Stewart’s legacy and one year after Stewart’s death street art icon Tristan Eaton signed on to paint the first of at least five murals planned for the year. Venice, California’s @GjelinaRestaurant at Abbot Kinney and Milwood Ave, happily provided the canvas for this tribute.  @tristaneaton/
