HAPPY VALENTINEāS DAY!
Zelena: I donāt know what it is but, it sucks! Everythingās pink and everyoneās sweet and thereās chocolate everwhere!
Regina: You mean Valentineās Day?
Zelena: Oh, thatās what itās called?
Emma: You take that back! Any day with chocolate everywhere is a good day!
Much of the cartoonists I follow use the Instagram app. I donāt use it so I donāt know how all of them are posting their pics onto Tumblr more than three times without realising it, but if youāre one of them then maybe you ought to be aware of this from now on. Just saying ^^;
Officially my new wallpaper. And I mean for my room, not my phone.

Tim Kellerās Wisdom on Disciple Making from Downline Summit, Feb 2018
Download MP3
1. Put a Priority on Personal Relationships
Keller says that secular people are less and less inclined to check out our church gatherings, regardless of how well we lead them. But they are open to conversations in the midst of genuine personal relationships. The biggest barrier, he says, is that most Christians are afraid to engage in these conversations because they do not know how to talk about the difficult topics. So church leaders must focus on training everyday Christians how to think about and respond to the key questions of our time.
2. Remember the Echoes of God
Drawing upon the work of N.T. Wright and C.S. Lewis, Keller reminded everyone of the common ground that we all share ā religious and secular people alike. He described this common ground as āechoes of Godā that even atheists will acknowledge.
The Passion for Justice Echo ā we all care about it, yet for truly secular people there is no ultimate foundation of justice.
The Longing for Joy Echo ā it was C.S. Lewis who most eloquently pointed out that our cravings for ultimate and lasting joy in this world points to another world.
The Echo to be known and loved ā we all crave relationships where we are known and loved. This echo points directly to core Christian teachings.
The Emptiness Echo ā even though many dismiss it, we all have a fear of death and loss of meaning in our lives. The gospel uniquely addresses these questions.

Week 5: āHeliosphanā by Aphex Twin, Week 6: āLeftside Driveā by Boards of Canada [and] āāRewind:Ā āAffectionā by Cigarettes after Sex
Well... holy hell. The last couple of weeks have been kind of insane at school, so it seems appropriate to just sit down and enjoy some good music. At time of writing, this is technically week 7, and I should have something up around saturday, maybe sooner.Ā
First off, a seemingly nostalgic electronic song thatās reminiscent of racing and action video games from the late 90ā²s or early 2000ā²s.Ā
I like this one because it feels almostĀ āsneakyā in nature, like I should be watching a heist unfold in front of me. It speaks well to thoroughly contemplated and executed action I feel.Ā
The Next one is a bit more mellow, though of a similar era. Iāve had some Boards of Canada stuff up here before, and though this may not be my favourite of theirs itās got the kernel of something cool about it.Ā
Pretty chill really. I find that itās got this weird similarity with the songĀ ācherry blossom Girlā by AIR. Almost like the lyrics from that could be put to this. I would definitely classify this as a 5am type of song, a soundtrack to the sunrise.Ā
Finally, a song Iām bringing back from around april of last year. For some reason I found myself humming it on the bus this past week. Itās very echoey and almost sobering.Ā
I think a comment on this one on youtube really hits the nail on the head; this is a song that you would dance with your partner to at 2 in the morning after many years of being together. A wordless way of saying I love you. Itās worth mentioning that I donāt necessarily agree with some of the subtext in this song, but I do love itās tone.Ā
