A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex) He’s on it like a shot. He’s checking in when you’re both catching your breaths, asking if you need anything at all. If you do, he’s insisting on getting up and fetching it for you so you can stay in bed and come round a bit. He’ll clean you up and if you want him to, he’s more than happy and willing to hold you, whether it’s because you just want to feel his presence or if you want to drift off in his arms.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?) He’ll take any alone time with you that he can possibly get, no matter how mundane it is. Your presence is more than enough for him and he loves the comfortable silence between you both, even if you’re just taking a walk together or sitting in the same room while going about separate things.

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?) Unless he’s hiding a surprise from you, he’s an open book. He hates keeping things from you and feeling like he’s lying to you about things, so you’re his biggest confidant in that respect

Upon hearing his voice, both you and Natalya glance over in his direction, and you chuckle slightly, standing upright and wiping the sweat from your brow.

“On second thought, maybe take five. Honestly, we’ll pick this up in a minute.”

Natalya hums, taking this as her cue to leave, and she smiles, giving you a friendly pat on the arm in passing before she exits the ring, leaving you and your family together.

“Didn’t know you’d be stopping by.” you chuckle and pace over to your husband, leaning through the middle rope to greet him with a kiss, “And for the record, I’m not pushing myself. Not too hard, anyway.”

Hunter holds out the water bottle to you, and you gladly take it, chugging the contents as if you haven’t drank a drop of anything for several days. Then, placing it down in one of the corners of the ring, you lean back through the ropes and turn your attention to your son.

“Have you come to watch me train, huh? You gonna be my biggest fan?”

You coo, and your son giggles and makes grabby hands at you while you lightly pinch his cheeks. Hunter smiles and gently bounces him in his arms, glancing between you both.

“I mean, I think he’ll have some tough competition there,” he grins, now looking solely at you, “I thought I was your biggest fan.”

You chuckle a little, and you slip through the ropes, perching yourself on the edge of the ring, now near eye level with them both. Grinning, you give Hunter a knowing look, and you give him a slight nudge with your elbow.

“Well…it wouldn’t hurt to have two biggest fans, would it?”

Chuckling slightly, Hunter leans in to plant a chaste kiss on your lips, signifying what you can only assume is agreement. You kiss back, and you pull away a second or two later, smiling contentedly.

“I don’t mind sharing the position with AJ. He’s allowed, right, kid?”

AJ babbles in response, and you both chuckle at him. Hunter pauses for a moment, and he places a free hand over one of yours, looking you in the eyes.

“I’m honestly so excited for you to be going back. Really. I know how much you loved being in the ring before you left to have AJ.” Hunter’s thumb rubs soft circles along the back of your hand, “And I can’t wait for him to see what a kickass mom you are in the ring.”

You laugh at that, and you nod in agreement, suddenly feeling even more hyped for your eventual return.

“Know what I say?” you ask, and Hunter gives you an expectant look, to which you flash him a knowing smirk, “I say hell yeah, bring it on. Because I’ll be taking over when I step back into that ring.”

Hunter grins, and he brings himself and AJ in closer to you, creating a family huddle. Whether it’s intentional or not, you don’t know, but you still gladly join the huddle nonetheless.
