i love traffic circles in this town, but the people here love Going Fast and ignoring yield signs :(
in georgia the biggest problem i had with traffic circles was Southern Driving, which is, people stop the flow of traffic to be courteous and let others go instead of using traffic circles as intended. like more than just yielding you can practically hear the minivans chanting “oh no, you first!” as they come to a dead stop for 5 minutes.
that sounds preferable to Fast tho. i wish people didn’t drive so dangerously!!!!

I was hoping going into it that they wouldn't show up at all, but if their relationship is a metaphor for the treatment of queer men in Japanese media (specifically anime) then it’s pretty clear from their last bit that they are trailblazers
so like, their appearance made sense. I can grokk that. But anyone who’s more focused on THAT than the kids? when the kids are the intended beneficiaries of the metaphor that revolves around the exploitation of queer desire through fetishization and capitalism?
