DC’s Trinity War. Arguably the greatest modern Justice League story ever told, thus far. DC’s New 52 was initially disliked by fans because everyone’s origin and subsequent story were changed. For example, Superman was cockier than his previous Boy Scout persona & he was dating Wonder Woman instead of Lois Lane Trinity War Synopsis: There are three Justice League Teams: Justice league (normal team), Justice League of America (Amanda Walker’s government sanctioned team), and Justice League Dark (heroes who deal with the paranormal occult). In the past, Pandora opened the box which released the Seven Deadly Sins (the creatures from the Shazam movie). Pandora was later imprisoned, with two others, by the Circle of Eternity. Pandora was later released & she had been trying to open again. To open the box, the person had to pure of heart or pure evil. The Trinity War Arc also involved the Secret Society of Supervillains & the Crime Syndicate I don’t want to ruin the story for anyone, but Constantine showed why he is known in heaven and hell. Finally found the hardcover copy of #TrinityWar from @dccomics at @comicodyssey and brilliantly written by @__geoffjohns. Collected the single issues back then but this #GraphicNovel collects the entire run plus tie-ins which made my rereading much clearer and more enjoyable. #HeroClix team tonight: #GothamCity Underworld, 395pts, for an event which required a team of four (or five) members: an "earth" (#Clayface), a "wind" (#Manbat), a "water" (#ThePenguin), a "Fire" (#Firefly), and (optionally) a "Heart" or "Mind" (#Owlman of the #crimesyndicate). All from the recent #JokersWild set, except Owlman from the #TrinityWar Fast Forces. He gives the Gotham City Underworld keyword at Force construction to any character with the Gotham City or Police keywords, bringing some relief to the #Batmanenemy keyword confusion that plagued JW. The team worked well enough; Man-Bat and Clayface pair very well together.
