11 - A book you hated.
Now. This is a toss-up between two books. And I literally can't decide between them. They all make me hate them in different ways.
Spies - Michael Frayn
This one is a book I read for AS-Level English Literature. And while not exactly my cup of tee. It would have been perfectly fine as a read, had our teacher not insisted that everything in the novel was about sex. The over-analysis I was forced to do makes me hate the novel because it was ruined for me.
Trinity Trilogy (Betrayal, Revenge, Destiny) - Fiona McIntosh
This book I hate because it was too goddamn predictable. How many times do you have to say that a person is God-Like in stature before revealing that this person is, in fact, a god. Just. Ugh. (And yet I read the entire bloody trainwreck of the trilogy).
