Any tip for beginning artist who doesn't think she can improve or haven't seen any different in her art?
Look for new techniques to learn, every artist learns differently and at a different pace. Sometimes it helps to trace things for practice, sometimes it helps to break things down in to basic shapes to understand how they work, some people need to look directly at something to draw it better, trying to draw the same thing over and over a few times and comparing in order to figure out what looks right or wrong and why, art tutorials can help, art books, etc. Sometimes getting better takes a lot of work but once you get the hang of it it gets easier as you go.

Stories and character I can see too definitely, take pride in those-- I just feel my art doesn’t do them justice right now I guess. Expressions are also something I’m proud of--- but at the same time I feel limited and unable to exaggerate expressions very well like I want to.
