âExcellent work, Prince Zuko,â Fire Lord Ozai said, looking down on the kneeling form of the son heâd banished not that long ago. âYou made quick work of what seemed an insurmountable task. Maybe thereâs hope for you yet.â
Zuko nodded and was dismissed from the throne room, head reeling.
Somehow heâd managed to capture the Avatar, a young woman from the Southern Water Tribe. Despite reports that all the waterbenders from the South had been captured or killed, Zuko had had a sneaking suspicion that that was where the Avatar was, powers dormant until needed.
When heâd raided her village, sheâd needed them, using a waterbending move to shoot fire at him, shocking everyone in the vicinity including herself. Except him. Sheâd done just what heâd hoped one of them would.
Before any of them could react any more than stare in stunned silence, Zuko had tackled the girl, putting the cuffs on her before she could deflect or retaliate, and pulling her to her feet by the chain.
âThank you for your contribution to the war effort,â heâd said to the gathered tribespeople. One of them, a boy not much older than the girl in chains, surged forward, but was shoved to the ground by one of Zukoâs guards.
âKatara!â heâd cried as Zuko pulled the girl away.
The next morning, Zuko woke up to a servant with a scroll on a platter, sealed with his fatherâs seal. He sat up, took the scroll, and dismissed the servant before splitting it open.
When he read his fatherâs order, his eyes widened.
It was his job to break the girlâs spirit? How on earth was he supposed to do that?
He tossed the scroll aside and then thought better of it, tucking it in a hiding place he knew Azula wouldnât be able to find before pulling on his every day robes and stepping out into the hallway.
Getting to the specially made dungeon wasnât difficult, of course. Zuko had been present when it was dedicated, almost four years ago now. Back when the previous Avatar had accidentally died in the altercation meant to capture him, Ozai realized they needed to find the new one and keep them alive.
The difficult part was going to be doing whatever needed to be done to break this girl, make it so she didnât want to leave or fight. Maybe even work for them, he guessed, if he could accomplish such a thing.
With a sigh, Zuko signaled for the guard to unlock the door and let him in.
Unfortunately for Zuko but definitely fortunately for Katara, he decided in the moment between him being in the hallway and him being in her cell that the best course of action would be to get to know her. Act like he was on her side. Like he was trustworthy.
Unfortunately for Zuko, this led to him learning a lot about her and beginning to actually like her. Maybe even see the errors of the Fire Nationâs ways.
Fortunately for Katara, this led to him eventually deciding to let her out, telling his father that she was harmless when in actuality he wanted to get both of them out of the capital.
It didnât hurt that heâd turned to his uncle for advice on how to handle the Avatar, either.
Their escape from the capital was so spontaneous they hadnât even known when it was going to happen. Iroh bundled them out of the palace in the middle of the night and onto the ship Zuko had used to find her, the one Iroh owned and crewed. They immediately set sail for the Southern Water Tribe to retrieve Kataraâs brother, make apologies to her people, and come up with a plan for them to retreat deeper into the South Pole because once they were discovered missing that would be the first place the Fire Nation would go. Thankfully Katara was able to waterbend them through the ocean so that they traveled twice as quickly as they would have otherwise.
Once Sokka was on board, figuratively and literally, and the rest of their tribe safe, they set a course for the Earth Kingdom and a new ship.
To Zukoâs surprise, when they were on the open water again, Katara kissed him on the cheek. She walked away, leaving him stunned with his hand on his cheek, wondering why sheâd done it. Heâd been the one whoâd kidnapped her in the first place, after all.
âIt looks like apologetic action works wonders with Water Tribe members,â his uncle mused.

(Yan-Chan hates the âA Gentleman Strikes in Broad Daylightâ commission when the Cryo Fatui is present. I have frozen so many times because of that guy. But he has given me some wonderful ideas.)
Gorou moved as quietly as he could. If that person knew he was coming, who knows what theyâll do to Kazuha? No. The general already lost too much. He couldnât lose his dearest friend.
They said if he didnât come alone, theyâdâ
Deep breaths.
Gorou tried to calm himself. He knew panicking would be of no use to him. He has to focus. He looks once again at the crumpled letter.
Dearest General,
Your friend Kaedehara Kazuha is no longer with the Crux Fleet. He had been taken by a mysterious figure going by the moniker âYandere Anonâ. The abduction has taken place near two months ago. If you wish to reclaim him, come to the Tatarasuna on XX-XX-XXXX. If you are found with company, Kazuha shall pay the price.
He didnât want to believe it, but after seeing the storm that is an angry Beidou, he was hard pressed to ignore the letter.
Arriving at his destination, he took a moment to survey the site. Nothing caught his attention immediately, only piling onto his mounting anxiety.
All was quiet. No sounds of life, not even the rain from outside.
Nothing but a low humâ
Wait.
Gorou jumped to the side, just in time to avoid a giant mechanical spider. The abomination hissed at him before spraying water at the hybrid. Gorou drew his weapons and nocked an arrow. Only to come to the horrific realization that he couldnât let go.
Another spider snuck up behind him and hit him with a Cryo attack.
He couldnât act as someone hit over the back of his head, knocking him out.
â
When Gorou came to, he was met with three sights.
A chain, leading down from his neck.
A person standing over him with his weapons.
And his friend, Kazuha, chained to the opposite wall from him, pale and thinner than he was ever before.
âOh goodie! Youâre finally awake,â the person cheered. âWelcome, Darling Gorou.â
*nervous sweating, sips coffee* Welp, Yandere anon now has three kidnapped characters officially
Hello! I'm looking for a story that I read a while ago and I can't find it. Edgar kidnapped Betty, and the only one who never gave up was Jughead. He ends up finding her in the woods, and Fred and Archie help them escape.
THIS IS KILLING ME. I know it was lost not too long ago and I found it then - but now I canât find it, canât see it on the blog, let alone on Ao3. The community will find this FOR SURE. It was long, Bughead is barely in it until the ending when Jughead saves Betty in a cabin in the woods after sheâd been missing for like a year. Everyone moved on but Jughead couldnât. Does anyone know off the top of their heads? My searching is not finding it and itâs driving me mad! Anyone?
@easyluckyfree45 @typicaljuggie have found it - and I feel like a complete moron! Thank you both SO much - you are both ROCKSTARS! Here you are @appleres - enjoy! Happy Reading! đđ
Unhinged by @crescentmoonmadness (11/11 - NR)
Summary:Â Jughead just wanted to go camping with his best friends, but when Betty Cooper mysteriously disappears into the night, it's up to him to get her back. No matter what.
Kai weakly opened his eyes though it did no good. The room was dark, pitch black, which he was thankful for so he wouldn't have to see the shape he was in. He pulled against the chains, the metal rattling but giving none. He hadn't bathed in months, maybe years. He wasn't really sure but he knew seasons had come and gone quite a few times.
He hated holidays the most. Whoever had him in this cold cell would leave for days, even weeks, and he'd be left with some food and a bottle of water that was always just barely out of reach. If he was lucky, someone might sneak in and help him but he never saw who.
He knew his parents in his reality were gone, and he knew everyone else was too. Especially after seeing the graves, the debris, the rubble. Even the skeletons. He let himself sob quietly, feeling the guilt eat at him.
He had left his own reality, though not by choice, and now everyone was gone- The whole planet, wiped out. Because he wasn't there, he didn't help.
Hearing the gates open, he knew someone would be in a few moments, though he hadn't been prepared for the light to come on. For it to show how beaten up he was, how caked in dirt and sand he was and how dull his eyes were along with how his bones were becoming prominent.
Though when he saw who was there, he had to admit it took him a minute to realize.
A/N: Longer than a drabble, weâre talkinâ 1,100 words. Sorry. Really, really sorry.
âY/N, please.â Jared held his hand against the door, your entire weight pushing against the back of it as his force pressed on the front. âPlease donât do this. You canât shut me out. Not again.â He begged.
âJared, go home.â You sighed, back leaning against the wood.Â
âI am home, Y/N. This is my home, here, with you.â He pushed on the door once again, and you were just too damn tired to keep fighting him, so you gave in.Â
âListen, Iâm gonna step out of the way of the door, you can come in, but you need to listen to me. No questions asked.â You pinched the bridge of your nose. Jared hummed in agreement and you let him in, both of you sitting around the island in the center of the kitchen.Â
âWhatâs going on, Y/N? Things have been so different lately. Youâve been distant, and I donât just mean because of the hundreds of miles between us.â Jared reached for your hand, but you pulled it away and tucked it between your knees.Â
âJareâŠâ You looked down. âThings are different. This isnât something I can keep doing. This hurts like you wouldnât believe. I have to be me without you, and thatâs not something I ever knew how to do. Itâs been us - me and you, Y/N and Jared - for as long as I can remember and now all of a sudden I just feel like thatâs not the case anymore. Itâs just I, me, Y/N.â Tears stung your eyes as they also welled in Jaredâs.Â
âWhat do you need? You can pack up your stuff and come with me back to Vancouver. Whatever you want to do, whatever you have to do to fix things.â Jared rambled on, offering any and every suggestion he could think of, but you just shook your head.Â
âThatâs not going to solve anything, Jared. The problem is - is that I loved you. Loved. Past tense. Weâre not the same people we were a year ago, six months ago even. Things have changed, and as much as I hate to admit it, weâve changed. This is it. My things are packed in the bedroom already. Iâm going home. Home, home.â You stood up and started to turn, but Jared reached out and grabbed your arm, pulling you back to him. His arms wrapped around you and crushed you against his chest.Â
âPlease.â He cried into your hair. Your sobs were muffled by his shirt, your heart was breaking, but your mind was already made up. You had to leave.
âJust know that youâre always going to be my⊠everything, Jared. I just canât love you anymore. Not like this.â You looked into his glossy hazel eyes and pulled yourself out of his grip, spinning and heading to grab your bags. You had a car waiting outside to take you to the airport.
You didnât make it home that day. You didnât even make it to the airport. The driver of your taxi took you right past the airport, whipped the car onto a dirt road a few miles away, and you spent the next six years staring at the walls of a locked closet. Your hands were bound by ropes, your feet shackled to the floor. You grew weaker by the day, bones becoming frail and skin turning ashen in color.Â
One day, when your captor told you he was going out, and to be good until he returned, you mustered enough strength to slam your shoulder into the closet door. By the time you broke free, your collarbone was practically shattered, but youâd made it. You scrambled for the phone and dialed the only number you knew by heart - Jaredâs. The loud ringing hurt your ears, having only heard the same voice for countless days.Â
âHello?â A womanâs voice came through the receiver.Â
âIs - Iâm looking for Jared.â Your voice was shaky, uncertain.
âOh, heâs working out right now. Sorry about that.â She chirped. âI can have him call you back later.â
âNo, itâs an emergency.â You shook your head, clamping your eyes shut. âI need Jared, now.â Shuffling came through the other end of the line, then your heard a muffled call of Jaredâs name.Â
âWho is it, baby?â A deep voice joined the shrill one youâd never heard before.
âJared!â You cried out.Â
âY/N?â His eyes grew wide as he said your name.Â
âJared I - I need your help.â Your eyes shifted frantically around the home youâd never really gotten to see. âCome get me, please. Iâm in Austin. I never went home. The driver, he flew past the airport and took me to - to some shack!â You cried.Â
âIâm on my way.âÂ
Jared kicked the door down just shy of twenty minutes later. You were sitting on the kitchen floor with your right hand wrapped around the ball of your left shoulder, tears streaming down your face.Â
âHey, itâs okay. Iâm here, I got you.â Jared lifted you under your back and knees, then carried you to a black SUV. A bald man was driving, and there was a petite woman with long, dark hair sitting in the passenger seat. âY/N, I - thereâs someone I want you to meet.â Jared tapped the woman on the shoulder. âThis is Geneveive.â The mystery woman turned around as much as she could and smiled kindly at you.Â
You forced a smile and gave a short nod. Then your eyes fell to where her hand was resting. Her belly was round like a basketball. Your gaze shifted to Jared, who was smiling at her, paying you no mind.Â
âYouâre pregnant.â You blurted. She giggled and nodded.
âYeah, I am. Eight and a half months pregnant, thanks to the giant man sitting next to you.â She rolled her eyes teasingly.Â
âY/NâŠâ Jared sighed. âThis is Genevieve. I met her the year after you left. She was a guest star on the show.â
âAnd now youâre-â you looked at his hand â-married. And youâre gonna be a dad.â You scooted away from Jared and plastered yourself against the car door.Â
âOnce we get you to the hospital, we can talk, okay?â He reached over and patted your thigh.Â
âPlease donât touch me.â You whimpered, eyes closed and teeth gritted together.
Jared pulled back as the bald man, Clif, drove you to the emergency room. You told your doctor not to let anyone in, not even the people whoâd brought you. You didnât want to see them again. You loved Jared. Loved. Past tense.

Hey there! Itâs been so long since I read that fan fiction and the only thing that I can remember is that Betty is an FBI Agent and is doing research/ looking for a whole group of criminals (iâm not sure about that) and in the end she is being kidnapped in an old house or something. I know itâs pretty vague and itâs understandable if you donât know what Iâm talking about.
Here you are! This one is delightful!

Hai! Iâm looking for a fanfic where Chic tries to kill jugheadâs sister and Jughead kidnaps Betty for revenge but realized chic abuses her and starves her. Jughead and the serpents owned a big house together and they did missions a lot..Thatâs all I really remember..Thanks if you find it!
