A/N: Longer than a drabble, weâre talkinâ 1,100 words. Sorry. Really, really sorry.
âY/N, please.â Jared held his hand against the door, your entire weight pushing against the back of it as his force pressed on the front. âPlease donât do this. You canât shut me out. Not again.â He begged.
âJared, go home.â You sighed, back leaning against the wood.Â
âI am home, Y/N. This is my home, here, with you.â He pushed on the door once again, and you were just too damn tired to keep fighting him, so you gave in.Â
âListen, Iâm gonna step out of the way of the door, you can come in, but you need to listen to me. No questions asked.â You pinched the bridge of your nose. Jared hummed in agreement and you let him in, both of you sitting around the island in the center of the kitchen.Â
âWhatâs going on, Y/N? Things have been so different lately. Youâve been distant, and I donât just mean because of the hundreds of miles between us.â Jared reached for your hand, but you pulled it away and tucked it between your knees.Â
âJareâŠâ You looked down. âThings are different. This isnât something I can keep doing. This hurts like you wouldnât believe. I have to be me without you, and thatâs not something I ever knew how to do. Itâs been us - me and you, Y/N and Jared - for as long as I can remember and now all of a sudden I just feel like thatâs not the case anymore. Itâs just I, me, Y/N.â Tears stung your eyes as they also welled in Jaredâs.Â
âWhat do you need? You can pack up your stuff and come with me back to Vancouver. Whatever you want to do, whatever you have to do to fix things.â Jared rambled on, offering any and every suggestion he could think of, but you just shook your head.Â
âThatâs not going to solve anything, Jared. The problem is - is that I loved you. Loved. Past tense. Weâre not the same people we were a year ago, six months ago even. Things have changed, and as much as I hate to admit it, weâve changed. This is it. My things are packed in the bedroom already. Iâm going home. Home, home.â You stood up and started to turn, but Jared reached out and grabbed your arm, pulling you back to him. His arms wrapped around you and crushed you against his chest.Â
âPlease.â He cried into your hair. Your sobs were muffled by his shirt, your heart was breaking, but your mind was already made up. You had to leave.
âJust know that youâre always going to be my⊠everything, Jared. I just canât love you anymore. Not like this.â You looked into his glossy hazel eyes and pulled yourself out of his grip, spinning and heading to grab your bags. You had a car waiting outside to take you to the airport.
You didnât make it home that day. You didnât even make it to the airport. The driver of your taxi took you right past the airport, whipped the car onto a dirt road a few miles away, and you spent the next six years staring at the walls of a locked closet. Your hands were bound by ropes, your feet shackled to the floor. You grew weaker by the day, bones becoming frail and skin turning ashen in color.Â
One day, when your captor told you he was going out, and to be good until he returned, you mustered enough strength to slam your shoulder into the closet door. By the time you broke free, your collarbone was practically shattered, but youâd made it. You scrambled for the phone and dialed the only number you knew by heart - Jaredâs. The loud ringing hurt your ears, having only heard the same voice for countless days.Â
âHello?â A womanâs voice came through the receiver.Â
âIs - Iâm looking for Jared.â Your voice was shaky, uncertain.
âOh, heâs working out right now. Sorry about that.â She chirped. âI can have him call you back later.â
âNo, itâs an emergency.â You shook your head, clamping your eyes shut. âI need Jared, now.â Shuffling came through the other end of the line, then your heard a muffled call of Jaredâs name.Â
âWho is it, baby?â A deep voice joined the shrill one youâd never heard before.
âJared!â You cried out.Â
âY/N?â His eyes grew wide as he said your name.Â
âJared I - I need your help.â Your eyes shifted frantically around the home youâd never really gotten to see. âCome get me, please. Iâm in Austin. I never went home. The driver, he flew past the airport and took me to - to some shack!â You cried.Â
âIâm on my way.âÂ
Jared kicked the door down just shy of twenty minutes later. You were sitting on the kitchen floor with your right hand wrapped around the ball of your left shoulder, tears streaming down your face.Â
âHey, itâs okay. Iâm here, I got you.â Jared lifted you under your back and knees, then carried you to a black SUV. A bald man was driving, and there was a petite woman with long, dark hair sitting in the passenger seat. âY/N, I - thereâs someone I want you to meet.â Jared tapped the woman on the shoulder. âThis is Geneveive.â The mystery woman turned around as much as she could and smiled kindly at you.Â
You forced a smile and gave a short nod. Then your eyes fell to where her hand was resting. Her belly was round like a basketball. Your gaze shifted to Jared, who was smiling at her, paying you no mind.Â
âYouâre pregnant.â You blurted. She giggled and nodded.
âYeah, I am. Eight and a half months pregnant, thanks to the giant man sitting next to you.â She rolled her eyes teasingly.Â
âY/NâŠâ Jared sighed. âThis is Genevieve. I met her the year after you left. She was a guest star on the show.â
âAnd now youâre-â you looked at his hand â-married. And youâre gonna be a dad.â You scooted away from Jared and plastered yourself against the car door.Â
âOnce we get you to the hospital, we can talk, okay?â He reached over and patted your thigh.Â
âPlease donât touch me.â You whimpered, eyes closed and teeth gritted together.
Jared pulled back as the bald man, Clif, drove you to the emergency room. You told your doctor not to let anyone in, not even the people whoâd brought you. You didnât want to see them again. You loved Jared. Loved. Past tense.

It was at least a hour before Yumi started to stir, once again. A ringing in her head and a searing pain coming from one of her shoulders. If her memory wasnât in such a haze, at the moment, she would have alert pretty fast.
Now, most people knew Yumi Hojo as the girl who was unfazed and played off everything, and considering her work and the collection she had at home, t was no big surprise. But she knew herself, her sister and horrid, horrid parents knew her: She didnât have a high pain tolerance and, when caught off guard, could easily be driven to panic and fear.
This was one of those times.
âNgh...â She remembered getting knocked out after her sister had been used as bait, waking up face to face with one of the monsterâs little friends and... Gosh, the rest was fuzzy, but she remembered a lot of pain and her...
She couldnât feel her arm- Did that little fucker really-!?
There was only one response thought to that. She was going to make Hope- or âKarakuri,â or whatever her name was- pay for causing this. That little monster refused to cooperate and leave well enough alone and now she was probably going to die here. But sheâd pay, she absolutely would.
Now that she was more awake and rage was hiding the panic and fear in those red-orange eyes of the Ultimate Blood Workerâs; she struggled against her restraints once more, surveying the area and easily catching the scent of her own blood. Sickeningly sweet, just like her sisterâs. Yeah, her arm was definitely gone, she couldnât feel it, but knowing that was somehow making it easier to build up a straight face.
Surely Yukio was already working n a way to find her. The brains would find the brawn soon, she just had to hold out until that happened.
âCome on, there has to be something in here- There has to. How they are compiled, weaknesses when separated... Ah! Possession! There we go-â Teal was cut short by a inhuman grip, and a prick of a syringe in his neck. It only took a minute for the sedative to take effect and everything to start fading to black.Â
The person he saw now picking him up: It was none other than Chamyle.
âThe time for notes and play is over 345-C-1. Itâs time to find 345-C-0, go home and continue our research.â
It had all been a blur, first her camp being found, then her fighting to protect herself, next thing she knew she was on the ground and everything went black.
Now Hope was here, wherever âhereâ was and honestly  unable t make sense of what had happened, all she could was levitate in mid-air and wait for someone to show up so she could get some answers.
open to an villan come and do your worst just leave me alive
Hands bound together in front, feet also bound, mouth duct taped closed blood trickled down her face, vision blurry. Chelsea tried to focus on the person standing above her but could not she likely had a concussion. Her eyes widened when the trunk was shut closing her off from the outside she was being kidnapped.
