tricourageâ:
the way the younger boy talks is a bit unsettling. taunting and almost instigating, it feels as though the other is trying to elicit some sort of reaction from him. how unfortunate for him that link didnât unless necessary. unintimidated, he crosses his arms as the other approaches, heading on the defensive (just in case).Â
was he tired? yes. would he rest? not a chance.Â
he gives the other a disagreeing shake of his head. there was no time to rest. he then bore his gaze onto the other, as if the other boy were deflecting. with a soft exhale through his nose, link lowers his arms. pulling out the cellphone he was given, he types out something before showing it to the other.
[you would too if you just arrived here.]
so - he wonât rest then. hanako doesnât really? care? honestly, he doesnât know who this is so his sleeping habits donât matter to him.
âWell.. if you work yourself to the brink, I think weâll become much closer muuuch sooner than youâd think.â he entirely means because if he dies from it, whatâs closer to a ghost than another ghost? not in a bonding sense, either. but, there was that thing he remembers someone saying once, about how the dead get brought back to life here âȘ evidently, every dead except hanako and another one he knows. â«
but.. he pauses for a moment so he can read the message.
... and, well, yeah. hanako did actually! he was aaaaaall over the place. so he nods while sticking his hands in his pocket as he gives a half-hearted kick to a rock.
âI went pretty much everywhere, but I donât need to rest. So itâs not the same, really?â he doesnât move any closer from where heâs at, as much as he wants to. âWelcome, though! Fresh bodies to the island is probably a good thing. I dunno. I havenât been here suuuper long, myself. Didâya eat yet? Or have you just been wandering the whole time?â
