okay gonna be honest I had to loook up what that was but I’m a HUGE fan of tricorns. One of the best hats- Bicorns are better WHO SAID THAT

Okay, so British Army tricorns from the 1770s - they all seem to have a couple of little tassels hanging out the side, does anyone know whether these serve any purpose bar decoration? I thought initially they were a rank signifier but apparently not?
