He, of course, was holding a water bottle for her to hydrate after such a long session. ... That was FANTASTIC! God, youse looked like a goddess out there! A good talent like that has GOT to be rewarded yaknow... ,, He pushes a hand into his suit pocket, smirking as he raises a brow, his now free hand raising as he talks. ... Dinna, my treat. Anywhere ya want, sweet'eart. We'll get ya all dolled up and everythin', whaddya say? ,,

 Calypso felt on top of the world. Like she could reach out to the clouds and make her way to the highest heavens as gravity lessened from underneath her feet and pushed her straight upwards. Her first concert.. her first real concert in a long time where the audience cheering for her didn't only do so to follow a script, but actually cherished and sealed every note in their memory, hopefully replaying it in their heads later for a long time.

 Her cheeks were flushed with sweat running down her temples as she made her way to the greenrooms. She may have had a long and tiring session just now but the adrenaline rushing through her veins kept her up and running with relentless joy, giving Shadowmen high fives and laughing like she'd never get a chance again.

  It's a good thing Battat always followed after her, or else she'd end up needlessly tiring herself out. She really did need the hydration right at this moment, and with him reminding her that she actually needed her scales fully taken care of before she continued with her schedule, she knew everything was going to be just fine.

  Before grabbing the water bottle however, she picked up the shorted dice guy and twirled him around in place, hugging him tightly to herself for a moment as her laughter slowly died down. That's when she finally processed his invitation.

   ❝ You really know how to spoil a rising pop-star, don't you? ❞ Angel, just the thought of it made her giddy. ❝ I wanna get the whole menu! ❞

Battat sighs, pushing furniture along inside his room. He'd repurposed it now just to be his room, he didn't exactly feel... right staying in the castle. He couldn't explain it if he tried. But today he'd asked a friend to help him redecorate, hoping to god this would be swift with his help.

... Ey, big guy, bed ova here. Ya got it? ,,

He waves him along, ushering him to place it in the corner. It was a pretty nice bed, he did still have plenty of money at his disposal to buy whatever he liked... so a nice bed he bought.

... There ya go, nice and steady. Thanks for helpin' me out. You wanna stay for a bit? We can have some drinks and try to get the cable woikin. ,,

"Yep, I got it!" K_K chirped out, unbothered by the weight of the bed as they carried it inside and put it down as carefully as they could. They even adjusted the blanket atop of it to make sure there weren't any wrinkles before placing their hands on their hips and nodding in approval.

"Drinks sound nice! Do you have chocolate milk?" he asked, glancing over at Battat. "If not, regular or almond milk works too!"

 Calypso had never felt so powerful. When you spend nearly your entire existence following a strict script you're never given the chance to pull back from, even the simplest act like getting to choose what song she was going to sing that evening felt thrilling. The adrenaline rushing through her body proved hard to control, which is why even though part of her felt like she could collapse at any moment, the louder part of her just screamed to keep going. This is all you've been dreaming of, go get it! And never let anybody stop you again!

 It was.. truly a blessing that Battat has been lending a guiding hand. There's no denying she must have been quite difficult to handle, especially during her energy outbursts, but could you really blame her? She was finally building a name for herself, again. And this time? She won't let anybody take that from her.

 The siren jumped and twirled in place, sweaty but still eager to keep going and not listen to the dice's extremely valid concerns! Really. Someone needs to get a hold of her before she faints.

  ❝ Ooh, i don't know! Let's just make up a song right now! A brand new ad jingle! For- uh- for strawberry toothpaste that you can eat, or something! ❞

Was that sarcasm? It was a bit hard to tell.

In a similar fashion, they would glance down to the green dice guy before them, holding their hat with one hand so the flap wouldn't obstruct their vision.

“N-no, no, I'm only... passing by. In a way. Not meaning to overstay my welcome, trust me.”

They certainly didn't mean to be intruding. Though they could see why it would feel that way.

His head was absolutely pounding by now. Those constant migraines weren't anything simple on him, and he holds his head as it pangs, sitting up slowly as he... realizes he missed his cue. It takes a second, but he flings his shoe at the button, hitting it. He sighs in relief, flopping back on the floor. He holds his head, hands over his eyes as he lays there, trying to withstand that incredibly distracting pounding in his head... he winces. It was almost painful enough to make him cry!

Almost.

He lifts his hands after a moment, still green-faced and in pain... his eyes take a moment to focus before he noticed his boss, and jolts. He sits up immediately, and he waves his hands.

... SO sorry I missed that last cue boss, I- gaah, agh. ,,

Another clutch to his head, and his eyes squeeze shut. That quick sit didn't do him any favors. He was so dizzy... he sure hoped his pay wouldn't get docked for this... was he going to snap at him? He didn't know, anything was better than getting his pay docked.

📺⭐🟥⭕ " -- But stick around, folks! We have a neverending lineup of bingeworthy classics right after this! You've been a 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵𝔂 audience! Goooood night! "

... Nothing. Tenna's show has been on... for a VERY long time. Anyone still in that live studio audience knew something was supposed to happen when he said good night-- a sort of light transition from bright stage lights to a night time blue, twinkling stars and a late night version of the TV Time logo would animate in. But... the stage stayed bright long past Tenna's cartoonish bow.

He peaks his head up, instinctively realizing the hitch in a routine he's done for a full life time-- he could feel something was off even if he was blind. Keeping his smile, ( though his fangs were threatening to grow ) he simply starts again at the top of his bowing animation and says again-- " Goooooooood-- " he drags out in a silly, steady pitch until the lights begin to dim.

" Night! " He finally finishes, ending his gesture with a flurry of stars to make it all seem in a comedic way, which saves the tone of the awkward situation as the audience is left laughing. Laughing... at him. But... still.... laughing.

The second he's off stage however? That lighthearted, lovable little grin of his disappears into a tense grimace. Still a smile! But... devoid of humor. And the familiar sound of glooby footsteps come stomping backstage. " Alright..! " He chuckles mirthlessly. " Whose the wiseguy that fumbled my sign off, huh? " Honing in on the tiny green pippin just now getting up from the floor, he looms over them, hands on his hips, tapping his gilded foot.

" And what's this, pal, a hangover..? " He sneers in bitter jest through a shark's smile, at first, before... glancing around. " Wait. Where... IS everyone? Isn't there usually three of you? Were... you the only one back here the whole show..? " His barely contained irritation gives way to shock.

" ... " He goes quiet. And its hard to say what's going through his head, but with how his antennas press down, it miiight have been mercy.

" You... mentioned something about headaches before, right? " He mutters. Tenna could seem to neglect remembering the name of his workers at times, but then, here and there... there's little signs he was paying attention. Just then, he appeared to offer his big gloved hand, as if to help them move... only to reach under their arm and slowly scoop them up off their feet completely.
