The warmth from the small mug the stewardess provided didn’t rid the chill and Travis fidgeted with the air control once again. There was no use, the coolness in first class was too uncomfortable and he worried he may be coming down with a cold. Travis set his mug down, a tea bag tab laid on the tray and he looked out the partially visible scene, as he’d lowered the visor to give him enough dimness to nap. There was still many hours left in the flight to Paris and he knew he’d need the rest before their scheduled arrival. 

Travis’ attention carried to the aisle and he looked past it, recognizing a man from the small town he visited frequently. When they boarded the pair made small town, amused they were on the same flight, as they boarded in Portland. Travis, one for small talk, thought it’d be nice to speak to the man again and he waited until he chanced a look in his direction before giving him a polite wave. The seat next to him was empty and he said, “If you’re not tied up with anything, you’re welcome to join me.” he offered. “We can discuss the productions you’ve taken part in and put on.” Travis found theater fascinating and knew it was something Benjamin took part in back at in the small town.
