Okay, so.
To the people who’ve commenting on my post from a few months ago about TracerxGenji, and shipping, and all that stuff.
My point was that I think it’s fine for people to ship whatever they’d like, since it’s their imagination. I know Tracer is indeed a canon lesbian. I support her for being so as well. I personally don’t think It’s lesbophobic for me to think whatever people wanna ship is fine. Nor do I think liking a ship is lesbophobic. Lesbophobia is when people direct various forms of negativity towards lesbians. (Yes.. I pretty much stole that from wikipedia..) I wasn’t showing negativity towards Tracer. I just said that I particularly liked TracerxGenji because they were two of my favorite characters at the time, and that I think that people should ship whatever makes them happy.
When people ship two straight people of the same gender, no one says it’s heterophobic. No one says it’s disrepectful. But, when I ship Trenji, people loose their shit.
Also, AUs are a thing. When I shipped Trenji a lot, I would say they were dating in an AU. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that personally.
And to the person who said “Shut up straghtie literally nobody cares”, I identify as lesbian.
