"My aen't you radiant." Pressing her hands of the young woman's shoulder the older adepti could not help the affection and pride that swelled within her chest. Pride in the one that stood before her. An adepti of the future, one that knew not of the archon war and yet still held that desire to do what was right in protecting people in her own way. With or without the need of contracts or bindings to the god of contracts.
Truly how luck it was to come into dreams as Guizhong pleased to meet those who came after her.
"A good head on your shoulder and utterly dazzling, I have difficulty looking at you directly, dear."
There were many names she had been called over the years- but radiant? Yeah that was a first and it was clear by her taken back reaction. There was something about the woman before her that made everything feel... safe, like comforting hug from an old friend.
"... I'm sorry? Have we met before? I fear you may have the wrong person-" Her voice came out a lot smaller than intended. While Yanfei was most definitely confused, she still found the woman before her utmost intriguing. Her smile alone could move mountains while the softness of her voice could calm the most unruly beast. She was peace in it's purest form. Why did it feel like her name was right on the tip of her tongue-
Waking up from that peaceful moment was a reality she didn't want to accept, nearly tumbling out of bed to grab the nearest journal. "How do I even explain this..." Yanfei mumbled groggily while writing down the key things she could remember from the dream. Some skills in art would have benefitted her at this point because it was hard to put into words how well... ethereal the woman was. The hasty attempt to recall the moment wasn't fully in vain; at least rummaging through Liyue's library that night she was able to connect a face with a name: Guizhong, the God of Dust.
"People are going to think I'm crazy... who would believe that a god would approach me in a dream..."
