Y'know, ever since I joined the PT fandom I've imagined a lot of scenarios involving my favorite characters (and by that I mean mainly Peppino) that pretty much don't have anything to do with the main game, mostly thanks to the AUs created by other peers in the fandom I often view on Twitter, Bluesky and Tumblr.
The main thing that I like about them is the fact that Pizza Tower's story and base idea is so strictly based on the concept of cooking and Italian food in general that changing even the smallest details can make really interesting alternative stories. Like, you could change Peppino's nationality (and so the main food from his country too), or changing his job instead of being a pizza maker, make the story take place in a different historical period or even changing the genre of the story to change the tone completely (noir, thriller, fairytale fantasy and so on).
I say this because this morning I had a (yet another) new idea for another PT AU and after a lil while of thinking of how develop it (I apologize in advance if I look like that I'm stroking my ego) I thought "wow, I must be the first person who has idealized this many AU ideas based on a friggin game about a stressed middle-aged Italian man fighting the discount version of Domino's Pizza's mascotte".
Because, just to recap, up until now I've developed:
an AU taking place in Heaven and Hell (Hell Tower)
another one based on "Alice in Wonderland" (Wonder Tower)
and one where it's basically a crossover with Steven Universe (Pizza Universe)
As for just the ideas, I've thought of:
another crossover, with Pokémon this time (Pokémon Tower)
an AU based on "Treasure island" (Treasure Tower)
an AU taking place in 18th century China (still working on the title)
and, lastly, an AU that takes place in prehistoric period (also working on the title)
I have a lot of ideas and I want to develop them all because I find them all very intriguing but it takes lots of mental energy for me to do so and I don't want to abandon the old ones I'm working on because I hate leaving stuff half-made.
Idk how to conclude the previous statement properly, I just wanted to share my thoughts with y'all. I guess I'll just try to take it slow and take care of my health while making that stuff.
Have this lil ironic doodle I made earlier before I go.
Ok, bye.
