A new challenger? A perchance meeting of Brains and Brawn!
The duties and obligations of a Gym Leader were many and varied, but there was one duty the masked leader of the Pastoria Gym loved above all else and that, that was the chance to meet new trainers and share a feirce fun battle with their pokemon and his! And even though challengers were rare for his gym, the thought of a mighty clash filled with excitment, it was enough to make him let loose a hearty laugh, one that echoed through the gym as he stood ready and waiting for his potential challenger at his end of the battle stage. Surely the one who would be his scheduled opponent for the day was none other than the young man who entered his gym right at this very moment!
“Welcome, challenger! Today you face mighty Crasher Wake and his water titans in battle!” He called out, his words clear in that loud booming voice of his. “Though early for your match, i applaud your enthusiasm! If you’d like, we can start right away! I’ll warn you though, my pokemon were made tough in stormy white waters. You’ll have to bring your best!” Once more he let out a laugh, a laugh so pure and excited that it was easy to see just how eager he was for the challenge.
Now, how would the trainer respond?
