Calix/Garrus: Reading about Calix's incredibly talented and loyal multispecies team reminded me strongly of Garrus's incredibly talented multispecies team. Somewhere in the space between the Warsaw and the Initiative, they have at least one chance encounter. Perhaps mutual attempts to recruit each other go elsewhere? Calix also likes the Consort, so they could even meet while Garrus is a breath away from leaving C-Sec for Omega - maybe hearing about Calix's team is part of what motivates him to leave.
Suvi/Samantha: Nerds together in university! Suvi comforting Samantha after the Collector attack on Horizon during her visit home (maybe Suvi was meeting the family). Discussion of Suvi's choice to join the Andromeda Initiative - maybe Samantha goes with her?
Nyreen/Vetra: Maybe the Nyx girls lived on Omega at some point and Vetra knew Nyreen there, perhaps doing some work for the Talons or resisting Nyreen's recruitment efforts? Nyreen actually leaving Omega when Aria thinks she does because she's inspired by her cousin's involvement with the Andromeda Initiative - and then getting together with Vetra in the Andromeda galaxy!
