I was under the impression that this was a one shot when I picked it up and was rather disappointed to find out it wasn't. There's very little that can be said in the way of story in this, but the art team did a beautiful job on all the fighting. I'm also wondering at the necessity of creating yet another shadowy organization because I'm pretty sure that the list of clandestine groups in the 616 probably numbers in the triple digits. While I'm not chomping at the bit to read more of this, I am very curious about it's eventual resolution.

Honestly how many times will this poor dude get turned into a bug monstrosity?

Without spoiling, this is probably my new favorite issue of the Ultimates from the [new] Ultimate Universe.

The structure of its 4 panel pages with each row being a different point in time and divided into two flashback panels and two present-day panels, you can read the entire way through by just going across. 1st panel is represent of the past. 2nd panel represents the fate. 3rd panel represents the guilt. 4th panel represents the present.

The release date for this issue is prefect, this was released on the 4th of September, it would've been too perfect if this was released in April, as the 4th day of fourth month, but still, it's brilliant.
