I can’t connect to people because of you.  I’ve built my walls so high.  Granted - I am safe.  I haven’t been beat up since.  But I also haven’t been able to make connections.  I don’t know how people should act, how I should act because I NEVER had any good social models thanks to you and that entire school.  You all fucked me up.  I still don’t know if hitting people is normal, consciously yes I know it but everything you taught me through the years screams the opposite.  You taught me that going along with whatever people say is good, you taught me that if I had my own thoughts, I would never have friends.  You taught me that all people are the same and that you were the only one who would keep me safe.  While you were hurting me, no doubt.  Why’d you do it?  WHy?  What enjoyment could you have gotten from ruining my entire life?  You taught me to always know who’s around me, what I could use as a weapon if someone attacked me, you taught me that if someone touches my shoulder or neck they are undoubtedly going to harm me.  YOU taught me that hugs are supposed to suffocate you and hurt so bad you get bruises over your ribs.
