I hope this doesn't come across as offensive. I'm genuinely curious about your perspective on Chinese people, since I am Chinese myself. I'm wondering if you see me with the feeling of viewing a subject or a child, or if it's something else entirely?
(If I've accidentally offended you in any way, please just ignore me—thanks so much, thanks! I used a translator and hope my words make sense.)
Hello! This is a great question, thank you for asking! Your question is very clear and you did great.
I have a unique relationship because I am still ethnically Chinese (Part Chinese and mostly Vietnamese.) So, I still do have a sense of community with Chinese people. However, this is unrelated to my kintype. It is because of my heritage. Because of this existing social connection, I don't want to view my people/community in a monolith.
But as someone who is the country of China... I want the best for everyone in my borders. the rest of humanity, and everything connected to me. And that includes this body, myself. Because my personal otherkin identity is rooted in psychological reasons (from trauma), this is my brain's way of making sure I'm taking care of myself.
Me being Chinakin is another reason why I protect and preserve my community and fight for our rights. I am not above or below anyone, I am part of the whole, and I will promise to protect everyone and my communities.
Sorry, this is a very complicated topic for me! But overall, I am already ethnically Chinese and interact with my Chinese diaspora often. Me being Chinakin is just another reason to protect and defend these communities (and others).
