Traukutitan was a titanosaur known from a partial skeleton, including many tail vertebrae and even some hind limb bones. It is known from the Bajo de la Carpa Formation in the Neuquén Group in Patagonia, Argentina. It lived in the Santonian age of the late cretaceous, about 84 million years ago.
