I have such a soft spot for Ben and Richie’s friendship. The way Ben being the only one who can really match Richie’s quick mouth because of course it’s him! he’s witty! He loves to read and has a way with words! The way Richie tells Ben he can’t let the Bower’s gang run his life, something he never considered before, something that gives him more courage. The way Richie sees the loneliness in Ben and isn’t deterred by it, in fact it makes him in turn feel “heroic.” The little moment in the 2019 movie where Richie says Ben got hot. I just love them so much :’)
