8:A song about drugs or alcoholCrossfade - Make Me a BelieverI used to be into Crossfade when I was like 13 but when this album came out I gave it a shot even though I had grown out of them. Somehow a few songs were really standout, and this one in particular I consider to be an alt-rock/post-grunge masterpiece, if those exist. After the band was cut from their label and depression set in and destroyed the band’s creative drive, drugs and alcohol tore up the band. This song was written about all of that.

10:A song that makes you sadPorcupine Tree - Heartattack in a LaybyEverything about this song is depressing as all hell.

11:A song that you never get tired ofOpeth - Blackwater ParkDripping with a gloomy atmosphere that erupts into killer riffs and guttural growls… Even after eight years of listening, this song just washes over me like a flood every time.

12:A song from your preteen yearsChildren of Bodom - Bed of RazorsI used to like a lot of shitty music. I opted for something I actually still kinda like instead of, say, Bullet for My Valentine or Godsmack, so I wouldn’t have to rip my ears off.
