kirishima’s already awestruck when he’s given the kiss on his cheek ( not because it was rare, but because he’s constantly head over heels for shinsou’s shows of affection ) so when the raspberry comes, it catches him completely off guard and he can’t help but release a BURST of laughter. he turns his head to look at his boyfriend, only to be struck yet again by the small smile playing on his face.

💢 Something about the muse that annoys you

HONESTLY, there isn’t anything about IZUKU as MUSE that I get annoyed with, like. He overworks himself to shit and doesn’t think highly of himself, but YKNOW that’s part of who he is, he feels like there’s a lot of time to make up for. SOMETHING that DOES annoy me, however, would be some treatment of Izuku? that I’ve seen (in like the gen. fandom not the rpc bc i love all my deku dupes) LIKE THERE ARE JUST some things that the gen. fandom does to him that kinda diminishes his character and how far he’s come? And HOW HARD he’s trying? Because they’ll focus on, yknow, ONE aspect of his personality and that’s it. I JUST LIKE HOW COMPLEX IZUKU IS AS A CHARACTER AND TBH QUITE A BIT OF HIS CHARACTER PLAYS OFF OF BAKUGOU, so like. Ya. Idk if i answered the question bUT THERE ARE SOME OF MY FEELINGS liauhgliauehgliahl

there’s  a  pause  in  his  humming      ,      hand  frozen  where  it  was  hanging  yet  another  decoration  that  was  almost  swallowed  up  in  the  thousands  of  others  already  in  their  spots  in  the  common  room .      ❝        do  you  think  it’s  too  much     ?      ❞       sheepish  smile  curls  at  his  lips      ,      eyes  dropping  down  and  his  free  hand  nervously  tugs  at  his  curls .      ❝      i  can  take  some  down  so  it’s  not  as …  much  as  it  is  right  now .     ❞

                YOU WOULDN’T CALL YOURSELF an anxious person, not by any means. people loved to make assumptions about you ( perhaps monoma is secretly a coward ! y’know, if he disses class a so much, he might actually love them ! ) but they were wrong. they don’t see the genuine confidence that guides your every step & how hard you throw yourself into everything you do. no longer are you the poor little rich boy who perched himself at destiny’s maw, waiting for them to swallow you into the pits of villainy. 

               but old habits die hard, you presume, as you cross your arms over your chest. a gesture that’s perfectly normal in this situation, but it hides something more. the air is so brittle it could snap, & if it doesn’t, surely you will. neither of you say a word ( what is there to say ? the look in shinsou’s eyes speaks volumes. ) the silence of the training grounds makes your blood run as cold as the winter air that slips between the gaps of your cuffs. bereft of any wind, the trees tower over you like massive skeletons ( you can feel their branches clenching around your lungs like a vice, the ends creeping down to your stomach. ) it’s as if nature is conspiring to keep you in the dark, not daring to whisper the response you crave. at this point, you’ll take anything, really. there’s a fire in shinsou’s eyes, ( the same fire that burned in hers when you found out the truth ) & it looks ready to burn you alive.

Eyes widened as they looked up at the other for a moment, a beat, a pause, before he immediately looked down. Eyes downcasted, glaring down at his feet, at the TRUTH that was laid bare before him. “I know,” He did know that, how could he not? The first time he’d ever really had a conversation with Shinsou was during the sports festival when he had insulted Ojirou - resulting in Izuku lashing out and activating Shinsou’s quirk (which was, mind you, all apart of his plan, of course.) but in the end, it was a LITTLE THING. 

“I know that,” LITTLE THINGS seemed to be a common theme in Izuku’s life, not necessarily recently, but moreso when he was younger, little things upon little things upon little things, buried him underneath them until he couldn’t see the sky, until he was trapped underneath it all with no where to go and no way to stop it, he was just STUCK. When All Might came into his life, it was when the little things just began to seem THAT MUCH smaller.

at  first      ,      he’s  quiet .      his  eyes  are  wide  and  sparkling      ,      mouth  dropped  open  in  awe .      it  was  a  truly  beautiful  dress  and  exactly  in  his  style .      of  course  he  isn’t  surprised  at  the  thoughtful  gift      ,      it  was  exactly  shinsou’s  style  to  find  something  that  izuku  wouldn’t  even  think  of  to  ask  for  and  for  it  to  be  exactly  what  he  likes .
