Hello trans witches !
I made a small stone altar for the network, this ones literally called "Safe Space", and I figured we could use one!
The peridot sheilds against those that emotionally drain us. Yellow Jasper, to provide a barrier against negativity. Amethyst protects from harm and clearly unwanted energy. And a rose quartz in the center for compassion, peace, healing, nourishment and comfort to everyone protected.
If you feel comfortable, adding your voice to the safe space would strengthen it. The activation affirmation is,
"I surround myself with warmth and love and support. I am protected. I am safe."
(Activated! Stronger than I thought it would be lol. I'll do a bio later today probably, just wanted to set this up first!)
on one hand i understand why people say to start learning tarot with the 'basic' decks, it definitely makes sense. on the other i was never able to connect or learn the cards until i started using the wild unknown deck, which led me to go from 'i don't understand any of this what the hell is the connection between the card and the meaning' to instinctively grasping the meanings and interactions of the cards with little trouble. so if you are trying to learn tarot and the deck you are using isn't making any sense to you maybe try another one. even if it ends up being a 'weird' deck, if it speaks to you use it.
also its much easier for me to understand other decks now that i have a base to work from, and i find my readings with all of my decks are more accurate. everyone is different and i find having a deck i connect with is makes it much easier to learn even if there is less information about the meanings available.
