Being trans in the work place.
I know not everyone in the world is entirely clued up about trans and being trans and everything trans but when you work with someone who is trans or even LGBT, you would maybe, not say words you know are used as slurs against the LGBT.
I like my job and I like the people - well most of them - but I’m not a stealth trans guy, i’m not one of the lucky ones who’s voice dropped to a normal level whilst on T, and I’m a small guy. They know i’ve had top surgery and i have to nip out every three months to get stabbed in the ass.
so you think they would know not to say things like -
Ugh guys are so unreliable... Why do you want to be one of them?
Which toilet do you use?
If you get married are you having a stag or a hen?
Why do you want to be one of them.
Here talk to this person on the phone... They want to know if you are a boy or a girl.. they think you sound like a girl.
