After years of struggling with being transgender, Angie Rice came out to her family and friends in Utah

Sandi paused, then replied, "That's not true, Angie. You've experienced what it feels like to be alive.""

I don't have my computer right now but when I do tonight, I am going to make a few slight insignificant changes. Also I am going to use my Twitter (@ transatbyui) account more. Kind of for more personal vague posting.
Where I am right now
I’m currently looking into voice training to improve my singing voice and start vocal exercises before I start hormones at... some point. I want to try and secure a place in a performance group next semester before I go ahead with hormones. I also want to give myself time to work on my very intense needle-phobia.
Since I’m on school insurance, I want to get top surgery done before I graduate. I will see how I feel in March, and hopefully plan a consultation for sometime in the summer, and then hopefully get it done in the summer or during winter break of next school year.
I’m also spacing all of this out so that I have time to consult religious leaders about what these steps will mean for me in terms of membership with the church. It’s a much more complicated mess than just being religious; it’s family social politics, and since I can’t totally separate myself from family (nor do I want to) it needs to be something I keep in mind.
Binding is starting to take its toll. My ribs hurt. I also need to work out more, get my chubbiness to go down a bit.
