"It's not a psyop" but a decade ago channers and terfs were openly discussing plans to make fake trans accounts to do EXACTLY THIS. It's very well-documented and well-known that this is how the "discourse" initially started. It's grown from there for sure, but there's nuance to this! Several accounts have been outed as being run by terfs and cis channers posing as trans people SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF creating a wider divide within the trans community. And it's unfortunately working, and THAT is (part of) why so many trans people are being so shitty to each other now.
The existence of actual trans people being awful and parroting this shit does not change its origins. It's not JUST a psyop at this point, but it started as one, and that absolutely matters in this discussion. That's...kinda what the whole point of the psyop WAS.
sure, yeah, I'm aware of the things that have been planned. we've said this before and I'll say it again, that doesn't make it more legitimate to say NOW that real actual trans people HATING OTHER TRANS PEOPLE are a fucking psyop. it's excusing what people are doing and as someone who has seen this shit grow for years now, IT'S NOT OKAY to keep saying it's a psyop. the real actual trans people saying this BENEFIT from people brushing it aside and saying it's a psyop, easy it's just the "actual" bad guys right?
