One thing that i just love about translating latin is when you use a dictionary and a translation just says 'go to this word that's the real meaning' so you go there and the same thing happens
Latin: *has multiple declensions, things that determine the whole nature and meaning of the sentence, spelt the same*
Romans: People will figure it out, it’s fine
Latin: *has one declension of god and goddess spelt the same*
Romans: THIS IS SO TERRIBLE HOW WILL PEOPLE DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THE GENDERS OF GODS IT MUST BE CHANGED IMMEDIATELY
