Every time I hear scifi talk about cybernetics or robotics being superior to organics, I remember that real life robotics project that hooked up a robot to carbs and found carbohydrates to be the most efficient energy source. Then I remember all those scifi where androids can't heal themselves and don't have access to repair parts. Then my mind flashes forward by centuries, to when a society of robots loops back around to organic life being "transhumanism" and considered a "superior" form. 😵💫
