Allspark user Sonerec725 just alerted us via our Discord server, that a live action Transformers TV Show is reportedly in the works! Apparently wegotthiscovered.com reports that their sources divulged to them that the Transformers franchise is set to headline its own big budget live-action show, but take this with a grain of salt as there has not been official confirmation yet. I don’t know what it is but I just can’t seem to get into Transformers Robots in Disguise tv show. Maybe it’s that for a continuation of Prime it doesn’t have the characters I loved in Prime: Ratchet, Wheeljack, Arcee, Knock Out, Soundwave, Shockwave. Maybe that it’s that I find Fixit and the audience avatar human character more annoying than Miko or Jack.
It might just be that in the first 5 episodes I was hoping they would address so many of the left over problems from Prime, like rebuilding a better society, or making a new culture with a bunch of post war veterans. But very quickly they moved to earth and cut themselves off from Cybertron. That all of the antagonists seem to be enemies of pre-war Cybertron, which was corrupt af, but their sentences were never evaluated for fairness. I guess I thought that RID tv show would be more like the RID comic.
But I’m open to someone changing my mind.
