Here's some screen grabs from my werewolf transformation animatic experiment I doodled on last year (see it here: https://youtu.be/PoIbyH_oIuM )... I realized as I was piecing this together, how much I actually hate this stuff... It's such a weird oxymoron. I don't really care for werewolves and horror. (I used to love it when I was younger, but certain experiences and deaths/tragedies in life reversed that). My obsession from drawing this stuff comes from a darker place. It's from a very angry, defensive, bitter side that expresses itself through this kind of art... Sometimes it's out of pure anxiety that draw this stuff. And when I am not feeling those feelings, I look at this stuff and get nauseous. It is so weird. This is actually not true with my other monsters, though-- dragons and dinosaurs and Godzilla.. Those are actually the opposite. That is a childhood escapism experience when I paint those... Anyway... Sorry for the weird artist psychology babble.
