Trans Resistance March Pt 14 This is the last post of my favourite shots from the Trans Resistance March! It was such an incredible event and I truly hope it continues as an annual tradition. It certainly felt like they had effectively rebooted Pride in Boston in a way that felt much closer to the original spirit of Pride. It was led by Black Trans People and there was a palpable spirit of resistance, anger, and mourning. But there was also joy. And celebration. Not of any corporate agenda or rainbow hegemony. But of us! Joy at being Trans! Joy at being Queer! Joy at being Bi! And Lesbian! And Gay! And Asexual! And Pansexual! And joy at being Black! Joy at being Latinx! Joy at being Indigenous! Joy at being AAPI!!! It was all of our community! All Together! This Was Pride!!! #trans #transgender #transresistancemarch #transemergencyfund #transisbeautiful #boston #massachusetts #pride #pridemonth #sayhername #blacktranslivesmatter #transwoman #transman #enby #blacktranswomen #blacktransmen #translivesmatter #pridestartedasariot #boycottbostonpride #newsphotography #transphotographer #adventurer #activist #activism #transrightsarehumanrights #transrights #therealpride (at Boston, Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQZlKlbnYpo/?utm_medium=tumblr
