Regardless of what phobias lie in indigenous spaces, pretending that transphobia/transmedicalism doesn't align with white supremacy is Crazy. Smoking crack out here are we
i don't smoke crack, unlike my nb friends, thank you kindly. who's more fucked up i wonder.
that being said, transmedicalism doesn's alight with white supremacy. the idea that there is any intersectionality between race and gender is utter nonsence, given that trans people have existed regardless of race, in all races, throughout time. we are transient, we belong, we are genetic. you cannot get rid of us, regardless of how you gender abolitionist try your very damndest.
you do not get to erase my nation/tribe's history because you're so indignant about the idea that ~~ALL NATIVES ARE TRANS/GAY AFFIRMING UWU~~
that ain't the case. nations are different. tribes within nations are different. we are not a monolith. just because one tribe's elder ascribed the term of two-spirit two DESCRIBE ALL LGBT NATIVES does not mean that two-spirit was a second gender
colonizer, don't speak to me.
I am Cherokee, and 8 years ago, I was given my name. It directly translates to "Poppy Woman" in English, or the implied translation is "Bloodroot." My name is special to me and means so much for a lot of reasons that I'd rather not get into now. But, I was given this name before I came out. I am a man. And I get a bit disphoric when thinking about the direct translation. I don't know what to do. I wanted to vent, maybe get some ideas. But, I love my name and all it has done for me in my self-discovery journey and with my self-acceptance. I don't necessarily want it changed, I just want to be able to find my way around the disphoria that it gives me.
Actor Devery Jacobs, director Sydney Freeland, and writer Tommy Pico reflect on the world-affirming successes and representational shortcomings of their new show backed by Taika Waititi Cohen

House Bill 1790, known as the Aubrey Alert, would require "critically missing" adult cases to be investigated immediately
