Trying to figure where I stand
I don't identify with being transgender and just go stealth for the most part. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. It saves me a lot of anxiety and social stigmatism. At the same time it prevents me from being able to associate or express transgender related problems or feelings. I believe that once someone sees you as trans that it takes over their perception of you(or rather that it can). One person may never misgender you because they never saw anything but who you are but if they know of your trans identity then there is a variable that can make people see you as a gender other than the one they saw before and that terrifies me.
