I count DP as part of Mewtwoās arc, from Birth to now. After DP, he deserves a real big hug.
Agreed! He felt softer and more at peace with himself in DP, and I think it was a great choice to have him focus on helping and healing people as a culmination of his arc, given where he started out.
And donāt worry, he will definitely get so many hugs in my fanfic!Ā

Mewtwo also doesnāt have a lot of fat in his body. Heād get cold quickly and may have difficulty with thermoregulation.
Yes, absolutely, absolutey!! Low % of body fat, no fur, heād get super cold super easily without his powers. As it is he regulates his body temperature by putting up a body-hugging barrier with his powers, which blocks wind/rain/etc and keeps his body at an ideal temperature. But without his powers he is almost incapable of keeping warm.Ā
I just love the idea of Mewtwo being so highly specialised towards his immense psychic powers that heās basically useless without them. Extremely specialised real life animals can run into problems due to their specialisation - I want to take that to its logical extreme w/Mewtwo.Ā
