Trees weren’t a very common thing in Ten. The climate wasn’t the best for them, and even if it were, the land was needed for grazing. All lumber came from Seven, anyway. Therefore, working with trees was innately as foreign as swimming was. With that in mind, I decided to visit the Tree Climbing station. After all, several of the arenas favored outdoor environments with forests and I’d hate to be the one stuck on the ground, if it came to it.

After a brief tutorial from the Trainer, who offered a few pointers about how to spot load bearing branches and general technique, I was left alone to give it a try. Wandering around, I looked for an acceptable tree when someone bumped into me. Scowling, I turned to tell them off when I realized it was Angus. I hadn’t seen him since dinner the night before.
