Has anyone else been on the metropolitan line when the friendly train driver is driving? Yesterday he was the driver and he was really cheerful and chirpy. He kept on making jokes about how someone had let the slowest train go first, and about red signals. He also had this spiel about the good and bad news: good news everything is running fine. Bad news - this act was kicked out of Xfactor. - I ended up hearing it twice on my journey, and I got off at Baker Street. Hopefully it wasn't repeated until the train reached Algate!
It was a bit strange but I think if I was a train driver, I would make jokes too! Everyone else in the carriage had poker faces on but I couldn't stop smiling. It was really funny. I nearly fell off my seat when his voice came through the speakers! haha!
Its a shame no one seems to have a sense of humour at 8am, but I thought it was nice to cheer everyone up! :)
